I was treated with courtesy and sympathy

Dear Sir,

Over the past few months, I have been back and forth to the UK due to the illness and subsequent death of my mother.

Following on from this, I shipped or carried back a number of items that I inherited. Some of these had a resale value, but many were of purely sentimental value.

I contacted Bermuda Customs to inquire what documentation was required to bring these items in and was very pleasantly surprised at the professional, courteous and sympathetic response I received from them.

Jordan Knight and Melody Lightbourne both handled my queries, which were handled speedily and efficiently with both individuals e-mailing me outside office hours to cater for the time difference between Bermuda and the UK.

I would also like to make special mention of Jevaughn Simons, whose smiling face often greets me at the airport.

When he says “welcome home”, he really means it and makes arriving back on the Island and passing through immigration and customs an enjoyable experience.

Keep up the good work guys.
