Jennifer Alen and Victoria Fiddick had top three finishes in their respective age groups in overseas races at the weekend.

Alen, competing in the New York City Fifth Avenue Mile race, finished third in the 30 to 34 age group in a time of 5min 15sec, which placed her as the 28th woman overall.

Fiddick placed first in the Masters age group in the Run for the Mountain 6K race in British Columbia.
