Hatherley races to victory
Mark Hatherley raced to victory in the Madison Digicel Criterium yesterday on Front Street.
The Winners Edge rider came home in 41min 39.585sec in the Adult A division, ahead of Dave McComas who was second in 41:42.119, with Matthew Oliviera close behind in third in 41:42.174.
Kaden Hopkins dominated the Adult B race finishing more than a minute ahead of Robin Horsfield, with Peter Crayford in third.
Crayford led a group of four Tokio Re riders across the line, finishing in 30:39.006, only marginally behind him in 30:38.417. Hopkins finished in 29:38.086.
In the Adult C division, James Watson won in 27:46.675, with Bradley Matthews second in 28:06.511 and Steve Smith third in 28:14.430.
Alyssa Rowse beat Tristan Narraway in a small women’s race, with Kion Richardson claiming honours in the Junior A race, Nazari Fox winning the Junior B race, and Blake Oliviera coming out on top in the Junior C division.
