Women, aged 67 and 59, deny assault

Two women will stand trial later this year after they denied assaulting and then detaining another woman.

Diana Trott and Beverley Clarke are both accused of causing bodily harm to Maria Garcia as well as unlawful detaining her against her will on June 14, this year, in Devonshire.

Ms Trott, 67, of Paget and Ms Clarke, 59, of Devonshire both pleaded not guilty to both charges yesterday morning at court.

They were released on bail and will stand trial at Magistrates’ Court on November 26.
