Clay Darrell scored twice as Young Men’s Social Club thrashed X-Roads 4-1 at PHC Stadium in the First Division yesterday.
Robert Rawlings and Saki Tuzo also scored, while Rico Burke was on target for X-Roads.
Elsewhere, St George’s Colts and Flanagan’s Onions, who were both relegated last season, shared the spoils at Wellington Oval.
Justin Denbrooke gave St George’s the lead in the seventeenth minute before Nicholas Dunke struck a late equaliser in the 89th minute. Jarazinho Bassett was sent off for St George’s.
In the day’s other games, Wolves got their season under way with a 2-2 draw against Paget Lions, while Somerset Bridge beat Ireland Rangers 3-1 at Malabar.
BAA and St David’s battled to a goalless draw on Saturday night.
