The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 2.23 points (0.18 per cent) at 1,214.48.

Shares in Bermuda Aviation Services fell 49 cents (15.8 per cent) to $2.61 after 500 shares changed hands.

Insurance company BF&M was unchanged at $16.71 after 300 shares moved.

And financial services holding firm Somers Ltd remained unchanged at $13 after 100 shares traded.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 8.39 points (0.53 per cent) at 1,579.55.
