A total of 50,105 shares worth more than $115,752 today traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX).

The Bank of Butterfield was the biggest mover, ending the day two cents (1.1 per cent) up at $1.80 after 28,000 shares traded.

Telecoms firm KeyTech was 10 cents (3.3 per cent) down at $2.90 after 21,500 shares moved.

And energy company Ascendant Group saw 605 shares change hands, leaving it unchanged at $5.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 7.48 points (0.61 per cent) at 1,240.66.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 18.96 points (1.19 per cent) at 1,608.92.
