Next weekend’s Bermuda Four-Ball Championships have been postponed due to a lack of interest.

The tournament, which clashed with the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series Bermuda, has been rescheduled for February.

Bermuda Golf Association said they considered the event “an important major championships” and were determined the event go ahead at some stage.

Tucker’s Point Club will host the event on its new dates of February 5 to February 7, with teams that had entered having to re-enter closer to the time.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but hopefully the new date will enable more players to participate to ensure a full and competitive field of entrants, for which this tournament is well renowned,” the BGA said.
