The historic Verdmont House in Smith’s is closing temporarily to have its interior painted, the Bermuda National Trust has announced.

The building, which dates to the early 1700s and houses an extensive museum of Bermudian history, is to reopen to the public on November 16.

The Trust has apologised for any inconvenience.
