Insurance firm Argus Group saw 48,900 of its shares change hands, leaving its price up 14 cents (3.7 per cent) at $3.95.

Telecoms firm KeyTech stood up 45 cents (12.7 per cent) at $4 after 10,0000 shares traded.

The Bank of Butterfield was at $1.85, up seven cents (3.9 per cent) after 8,000 shares sold.

And Ascendant Group, the parent firm of power company Belco, was unchanged at $5 after 5,010 shares moved.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed up 39.70 points (3.19 per cent) at 1,285.89. The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 9.68 per cent (0.58 per cent) at 1,669.41.
