TODAY

On Fire, a gospel concert featuring performances by Rickeesha Binns and The Joshua Generation, Samantha Smith, Last Call and many others. At Ruth Seaton James Centre for the Performing Arts at 6.30pm. Tickets are $30 at the door.

Anointed Steps Dance Ministry School will host two recitals at City Hall, at 1.30pm and 7pm. Tickets, $25 and $50, are available at the door.

Wednesday

Restoration Fellowship’s 15th annual prophetic conference runs today through Sunday. The theme of the event is based on Exodus 17:8-16 and Ephesians 6:10-18 and will include workshops and nightly church services. Speakers will include Bishop George Bloomer of Detroit, Michigan; Judy Brown-Jones of Brooklyn, New York and Kervin Smith of Minnesota. For more information visit www.rfbermuda.com.

Centenary United Methodist Women will hold its annual Christmas tea and sale from 2pm until 5pm at Stephenson Memorial Hall at the corner of Collector’s Hill and South Road, Smith’s. Home-baked goods, Christmas items, plants and afternoon tea are all on offer. Bring your friends and enjoy an afternoon of fellowship at this popular event.

Saturday, November 14

Bright Temple AME Church, located at 28 Spring Hill in Warwick, will host a flea market from 9am until 3pm. Soup and various bread rolls will be on offer for $8.

Women Aglow Int invites you to its monthly fellowship service and light breakfast giving thanks at Astwood Hall, Church Street, Hamilton. The meeting begins at 9.45am. Beverly Jones of BJ Ministries International will be the speaker.

Sunday, November 15

Cobbs Hill Methodist Church will celebrate its 188th anniversary with two services of praise, worship and thanks. The speaker for the 9.30am service is Elder Clarence Dill of Cobbs Hill Church. The guest speaker for the 4pm service is Harold Lambe of Evening Light Pentecostal Church. Special music will be provided by gospel reggae artist Septimus.

Thursday, November 19

Tasha Cobbs: Grammy Award-winning gospel artist best known for Break Every Chain and For Your Glory, will perform at the Fairmont Southampton hotel. Tickets are on sale at 27th Century, Music Box and the HOTT 107.5 and Magic 102.7 studios.

Saturday, November 21

St Mary’s Church Christmas Fair at the church hall on Middle Road in Warwick from 10am until 4pm. There will be baked goods, raffles, plant stalls, children’s games and a fun castle on offer. Other attractions include a books and handicrafts sale and refreshments, with entertainment starting at 11.30am.

Sunday, November 22

Grace Methodist Church at 167 North Shore, will host 100 Women in White. Guest speaker at the 3.30pm service is Kalmar Richards.

Wednesday, November 25

Church of God Glory Temple, Southside, St David’s, will host It’s Revival Time in the East. Russell Tomilson will speak tonight and tomorrow night at 7.30pm.

Thursday, November 26

Bright Temple AME Church, located at 28 Spring Hill in Warwick, will host a Thanksgiving Take Home Dinner from noon until 6pm. The cost is $20. For more information call 236-0364.

Grace Methodist Church at 167 North Shore hosts a Christmas concert with various musical performances starting at 7.30pm. There will be no charge, however a free-will offering will be taken.
