Members of the public can attend an information session on the airport redevelopment plan this Wednesday at the Cathedral Church Hall in Hamilton.

The meeting, which begins at 5.30pm, will include presentations from Bob Richards, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance, and Shawn Crockwell, the Minister of Tourism Development and Transport.

Together, the ministers will discuss the Government’s proposed $250 million project to modernise LF Wade International Airport.

There will also be presentations from representatives of prime contractor CCC and construction firm Aecon at the session, which follows last month’s inaugural public meeting at Penno’s Wharf.

“The Government intends to keep the public informed about this important project in the future,” a spokesperson said.
