Who will be Mr and Miss CedarBridge?

Students at CedarBridge are to compete for the accolade of Mr and Miss CedarBridge Academy as part of the school’s annual pageant.

The event, which is a major fundraiser for CedarBridge, takes place next Saturday, November 28, from 7pm in the Ruth Seaton James Centre of Performing Arts located at the school.

Eleven students will compete against each other: Kayuntae’ Ming, Dascha Choudhury, Sihlé Sharrieff-Hayward, Marissa Trott, X-onna Stevens, Li’Talia Odume and Bathsheba Jones will compete for the Miss CBA title; Kevonté Jennings-Lathan, Chiquon Smith, Shaddai Williams and Djymon Reid for the Mr CBA title.

They will be judged in five categories: introduction, career wear, talent, evening wear and question and answer.

The pageant takes place from 7pm and are available from CedarBridge’s main office.

A CedarBridge spokeswoman said: “The school pageant is one of our major fundraisers for the graduating class of 2016. Moreover, the pageant is geared towards building confidence, providing opportunities for our seniors to develop life skills, display talents and increase the awareness of the importance of service by giving back to the community.”
