A motorcyclist who was seriously injured after colliding with a kerb on the outskirts of Hamilton has been released from hospital.

The 33-year-old St George’s man was initially treated in the intensive care unit after the accident on Crow Lane in the early hours of Friday.

However police confirmed this afternoon that he has been discharged from hospital.

Inquiries into the collision are ongoing and witnesses should contact the Hamilton Police Station on 247-1704.
