Two cars collided at a renowned accident hot spot this afternoon causing traffic delays.

The accident took place at 4.20pm at the junction of Middle Road and Tee Street in Devonshire.

Nobody was injured as a result of the accident but both cars sustained significant damage

Traffic was diverted away from the area until the damaged cars were towed from the scene.
