Marine explorer to lecture at BUEI

Passionate diver: marine explorer Jill Heinerth

Marine explorer Jill Heinerth will talk about her adventures and advocacy next week at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.

Ms Heinerth will give a lecture on Tuesday, December 15, about her passion for scuba diving, which she combines with film-making, photography, writing and consultancy for the likes of Titanic director James Cameron.

The Toronto native, who was awarded the inaugural Medal for Exploration by the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, also campaigns for water conservation.

There will be a sushi happy hour from 5pm to 6.30pm, with Harbourfront restaurant opening for dinner at 6pm. The talk is scheduled to begin at 7.30pm in the BUEI Auditorium.
