Willis hires new Bermudian executives

Signing up Bermudian recruits: Paul Scope, chairman of Willis Bermuda

Reinsurance and insurance broker Willis has appointed two new Bermudian senior executives.

Nick Warren, currently at Marsh IAS Management Services, is the new managing director for the Willis Management (Bermuda) captive operation.

He will take up his new post at the start of February.

And Mike Fisher has become senior vice-president in Willis Bermuda’s causalty insurance practice.

Mr Fisher joins Willis from Integro’s Bermuda office, where he was managing director and president.

Willis has also taken on two other staff, Brendan Doyle, a graduate of Rollins College in Florida, who will join the healthcare practice.

And Wendy Percy, who formerly worked for the CEO of Clarien Bank and the Attorney General, has become executive assistant to Willis Bermuda chairman Paul Scope.

Global firm Willis, which has had a presence in Bermuda since 1979, offers risk advisory, reinsurance and insurance broking and human capital and benefits services.

The company employs around 35 full-time staff on the Island, working in areas including alternative risk transfer, direct insurance, reinsurance, captives, life insurance and annuity.
