The wrong dates for this year’s Cup Match holiday are being given by a number of publications and websites, the Cabinet Office has said. The annual Cup Match holiday is observed on the Thursday and Friday before the first Monday in August.

Emancipation Day and Somers Day 2016 will thus be observed on Thursday, July 28 and Friday, July 29.
