The Royal Gazette/BSX yesterday closed down 0.38 points (0.03 per cent) at 1,303.68.

The sole mover was insurance firm BF&M, which ended the day down five cents (0.29 per cent) at $16.80 after 7,842 shares worth about $131,995 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index closed up 39 points (2.4 per cent) at 1,661.99.
