Baseball bat attack victim recovering

A woman who was attacked with a baseball bat on Friday is in a “stable condition” and recovering on a general ward at the hospital.
The 18-year-old was injured when “two female suspects apparently attended the victim’s residence and assaulted her with a baseball bat”, a police spokesman said.
The incident took place at a residence on Curving Avenue, Pembroke, at about 2.45am.
Court appearances are expected for the two women arrested in connection with the assault.
