Michael Dunkley congratulated The MarketPlace group today when he attended the opening of its newest Price Rite store in Warwick.

The Premier joined owner Pamela Ferriera and president Gary Shuman in performing a ribbon-cutting at the new establishment, which is located at the site of the former White’s supermarket.

In his remarks today, the Premier praised The MarketPlace group for “having confidence in Bermuda, for investing in the property and for creating jobs for the community”.

Also on hand at today’s event were schoolchildren from Heron Bay Primary, Bermuda Institute and Warwick Academy as well as area MP Jeff Sousa.
