The area of Manse Road in Paget suffered its third accident within a week yesterday, when a truck smashed into a utility pole.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said a Hunt’s vehicle was involved in the crash at about 10.30am, but that nobody appeared to be injured.

Traffic was rerouted on to Harbour Road for the rest of the morning.

On Tuesday night, a car and a taxi collided at the same spot, crashing through walls on either side of the junction on Middle Road. That damage was still visible yesterday. A van also overturned in the area on Friday last week at about 1pm.
