The Royal Gazette/BSX closed up 9.51 points (0.78 per cent) at 1,228.88.

The biggest mover was telecoms firm KeyTech, which went up 55 cents (18.33 per cent) to $3.55 after 25,000 shares traded.

Insurance firm BF&M rose 28 cents (1.67 per cent) to $16.99 after 3,000 shares changed hands.

The Bank of Butterfield was unchanged at $1.78 after 12,400 shares sold.

Insurance firm Argus was also unchanged at $3.60 after 2,500 of its shares were traded.
