Dear Sir,

Last Thursday afternoon at about 4.30, I stopped to ask a lady if she was having difficulties.

She was walking unsteadily with a man who seemed also unsteady.

It turned out that she was fine but had found him in this condition and was being a Good Samaritan and trying to make sure he didn’t hurt himself.

Two other ladies had also come to her aid.

We were near my husband’s office and the people there were able to help and get him home safely.

I just wanted to say thank you to those three ladies. If they hadn’t been helping him, I might have walked on by, since I wouldn’t have wanted to get involved with someone who was intoxicated.

As it was together, we were able to help. I wish everybody was as kind as those three ladies. They made me proud of Bermuda.

To the gentleman whom we found in distress, I hope that you are OK and don’t find yourself in that situation again.
