The Royal Gazette/BSX Index today closed up 10.07 points, or 0.83 per cent, at 1,229.27.

Butterfield Bank saw 38,200 shares trade, leaving its price up one cent, or 0.6 per cent, at $1.76.

Telecoms firm KeyTech was up 49 cents, or 14.2 per cent, after 1,000 shares moved.

And utilities company Ascendant Group fell ten cents, or 2.1 per cent, to $4.70 after 1,600 shares changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 6.91 points, or 0.43 per cent, at 1613.55.
