Top neurosurgeon to speak in Bermuda

Neurosurgeon Keith Black

A leading neurosurgeon will be the keynote speaker at next month’s “Docs for Dinner” event, hosted by Bermuda Healthcare Services and Brown-Darrell Clinic.

Keith Black, who has performed some 4,000 brain surgeries, will talk on the “emerging imaging technologies from brain tumours to Alzheimer’s Disease”.

The 46-year-old surgeon has been featured on the cover of Time Magazine, profiled on the PBS programme, The New Explorers, and included in Esquire Magazine’s “21 Most Important People of the 21st Century”.

Brown-Darrell Clinic founder and executive chairman Ewart Brown, said: “Dr Black is a world-class talent and arguably an international celebrity in the medical field. His knowledge and wealth of experience are certain to be of great benefit to Bermuda’s medical community,”

“Docs for Dinner,” will be held on March 9, at the Hamilton Princess.

Doctors attending the presentation will receive two Continuing Medical Education credits.
