The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 6.47 points, or 0.53 per cent, at 1,218.39.

Telecoms firm KeyTech fell 48 cents, or 12.03 per cent, to $3.51 after 1,100 shares traded.

The Bank of Butterfield was unchanged at $1.75 after 24,000 shares changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 39.71 points, or 2.49 per cent, at 1,631.83.
