Model Call for Bermuda Fashion Festival

Bermuda Fashion Festival 2015

Models are being scouted for the Bermuda Fashion Festival by the City of Hamilton.

Organisers of the island’s premier fashion week are calling on aspiring models aged 5 and up to audition.

“This year we hope to attract many new models and we welcome adults of any age and size, from any background,” said Danilee Trott, the Bermuda Fashion Festival executive producer and City of Hamilton events project manager. “Model Call is an exciting time; it’s when we see our previous runway stars return to shine with even more confidence and style, and we love it when we find someone new.

“We include local models in Bermuda’s largest fashion event — Evolution Retail Show, as well the highly-anticipated international designer and local designer runway shows.”

According to a statement by the City of Hamilton, this year’s fashion week, which will be held from July 10 to 16, is shaping up to be “more international than ever”, with the involvement of “highly recognisable global brands and designers”.

The names of international celebrities participating in the event will be revealed in coming weeks.

Children aged 5 and up can audition at the lower level of Pier 6 from 4pm to 6pm on March 10. Adult auditions will be held on March 12 and 13 from 1pm to 6pm.

All adults and children should wear a fitted white T-shirt and blue fitted jeans or shorts. Men and children should wear white sneakers or black dress shoes, while women should wear black heels (minimum 4 inches and no wedges). Adults also interested in modelling swimwear are asked to bring a swimsuit.
