Warwick Academy celebrated World Book Day as it rounded up its Graphic Novel Festival.

Students dressed up as their favourite cartoon character, while a comic book sale was sponsored by Bermuda Bookstore, The Comic Stop and Nerd Gear Bermuda.

School director of development Jane Vickers said: “The purpose was to expose our students to storytelling through pictures.

“Students over the past few months have been doing workshops on creating comic strips and telling a story through pictures.”
