Dark ‘n’ stormy gets a plug on Tonight Show

Cocktail time: Zoe Kravitz and Jimmy Fallon, complete with dark 'n' stormys, on the set of The Tonight Show

Zoe Kravitz, the American actress, has revealed she is a fan of Bermuda’s trademark dark ‘n’ stormy cocktails.

And millions of viewers watched as the star treated Jimmy Fallon, the chat show host, to the drink on The Tonight Show last Tuesday.

Nancy Gosling, president of Gosling’s, which has trademarked the dark ‘n’ stormy name for the mix of Gosling’s rum and ginger beer, said she assumed the drinks on the show featured the brand.

She added: “That’s what they said — I’m assuming that since it’s trademarked.”

Ms Kravitz, 27, the daughter of singing star Lenny Kravitz, told Mr Fallon that the dark ‘n’ stormy was a “Kravitz family tradition”.

Mr Fallon told the actress that he had sipped dark ‘n’ stormys before — after her father surprised him by picking him up at an airport in the Bahamas before entertaining him with cocktails.

He joked: “I don’t remember flying back.”

Ms Kravitz was on the show, which attracts around 3.9 million viewers in the US for every show, to promote her new film Divergent: Allegiant.

Ms Kravitz, is also a singer. Her band Lolawolf will be performing at June’s Bonnaroo music festival, a major event hosted annually in Tennessee.
