Shares of HSBC Holdings improved by 50 cents, or 8.06 per cent, last week to close at $6.70 after 700 were traded, while BF&M shares lost five cents, or 0.3 per cent, to finish at $16.30 after 6,400 changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed at 1,165.23, down 0.38 points, or 0.03 per cent, on the week after 62,124 shares traded.

Shares of Butterfield Bank, including its preference shares, Argus Group, and Ascendant Group all traded, but ended the week where they had begun.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 10.33 points, or 0.64 per cent, at 1,626.38.
