KeyTech and Argus hit 52-week lows

Double slump: both KeyTech and Argus in their lowest trading levels in at least a year last week

Shares of KeyTech Ltd slumped to a new 52-week low on heavy volume in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading last week.

The telecommunications group dipped five cents, or 2.5 per cent during a week shortened by the Bermuda Day holiday to close on $1.95, as 66,200 shares traded.

Argus Group Holdings Ltd also fell to a 52-week low of $3.31. The insurer fell 19 cents, or 5.4 per cent, as 1,000 of its shares traded.

Butterfield Bank, the most heavily traded stock, stayed put on $1.62 as 87,000 of its shares changed hands.

BF&M Ltd and Ascendant Group Ltd also saw trading activity, but their share prices remained unchanged.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 4.49 points, or 0.38 per cent, to close the week on 1,154.2.
