Argus shares gain 1.3%

Shares of insurers Argus and BF&M moved in opposite directions in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading

A total of 78,000 shares worth $466,300 today traded on Bermuda Stock Exchange.

Insurance firm Argus was up 5 cents, or 1.3 per cent, at $3.80 after 4,800 shares sold.

Fellow insurer BF&M dropped 10 cents, or 0.6 per cent, after 14,900 shares changed hands.

Telecoms company KeyTech was at $2.60, dropping 5 cents, or 1.9 per cent, following the movement of 29,000 shares.

Utilities group Ascendant rose 3 cents, or 0.6 per cent, to $5.06 after 20,000 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank closed at $1.63 after the movement of 10,000 shares pushed its price up 1 cent, or 0.6 per cent.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 4.33 points, or 0.37 per cent, at 1,178.33.
