Telecoms firm KeyTech dropped 10 cents, or 3.33 per cent, to $2.90 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index. The fall came after 2,931 shares traded.

Bank of Butterfield preference shares fell by $10, or 1 per cent, to $1,040 after 38 shares changed hands.

Utilities group Ascendant was unchanged at $5.45 after 1,815 shares sold.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 1.37 points, or 0.11 per cent, at 1,205.38.

The Bermuda Insurance Index closed up 6.77 points, or 0.41 per cent, at 1,654.57.
