BF&M shares pull back

Insurer falls: BF&M shares fell 2.9 per cent in BSX trading

Insurance firm BF&M today dropped 60 cents to $19.90 in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.

The 2.9 per cent fall came after 1,700 shares traded.

Fellow insurer Argus rose 10 cents, or 2.2 per cent, after 500 shares sold.

The Bank of Butterfield was unchanged $25.10 after 2,788 shares changed hands.

The bank’s price on the New York Stock Exchange rose 9 cents, or 0.34 per cent, to $26.37.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 2.59 points, or 0.16 per cent, to 1,635.80.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 13.10 points, or 0.78 per cent, at 1,665.45.
