BF&M shares go up 2.3%

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 0.55 points at 1,796.88

Insurance firm BF&M rose 45 cents to $20.35 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The move, equal to 2.3 per cent, came after 2,000 shares changed hands.

Fellow insurer Argus Group dropped 20 cents, or 4 per cent, to $4.75 after 2,000 shares moved.

The Bank of Butterfield was unchanged at $28.30 after 131 shares sold.

The bank’s price on the New York Stock Exchange fell seven cents, or 0.24 per cent, to $28.73.

Shipping firm Polaris Holding saw 10,400 shares move, leaving its price static at $4.05.

Paint company Devonshire Industries was also unchanged, at $5.75, after 1,500 shares sold.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 0.55 points, or 0.03 per cent, at 1,796.88.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 6.14 points, or 0.36 per cent, at 1,717.04.
