Telecoms firm KeyTech’s share price today jumped by nearly a third in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.

Shares in the firm went up 70 cents, or 31.1 per cent, to $2.95 after 10,000 shares traded.

The Bank of Butterfield went up 50 cents, or 1.8 per cent, to $29 after 997 shares changed hands.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank’s price dropped 5 cents, or 0.17 per cent, to $30.01.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 32.10 points, or 1.79 per cent, at 1823.75.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 1.62 points, or 0.09 per cent, at 1,762.92.
