Insurance group Argus dropped 15 cents to $4.60 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The fall, equal to 3.2 per cent, came after 11,300 shares traded.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the Bank of Butterfield rose one cent, or 0.03 per cent, to $31.71.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down three points, or 0.16 per cent, at 1,927.79.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 0.03 points at 17,69.90.
