The Bank of Butterfield today dropped $1 to $32.50 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The 3 per cent fall came as 3,750 shares traded.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank slipped 1 cent or 0.03 per cent to $33.29.

Insurance firm BF&M remained at $21 after 50 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 44.98 points, or 2.2 per cent, at 1,998.78.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 13.87 points, or 0.87 per cent, at 1,873.25.
