Bank of Butterfield shares yesterday fell 43 cents, or 1.23 per cent to $34.48, on the New York Stock Exchange.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 2,038.28 after a day of no trading.

The BSX Insurance Index closed down 9.40 points, or 0.49 per cent, at 1,910.91.
