Utilities firm Ascendant Group dropped 15 cents to $8.75 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The move, equal to 1.7 per cent, came after 18,600 shares traded.

Insurance firm BF&M was unchanged at $20.60 after 2,000 shares moved.

Telecoms firm One Communications was also unchanged at $2.15 after 2,200 shares changed hands.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the Bank of Butterfield was static at $34.27.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index dropped 1.45 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 2,048.96.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 10.24 points or 0.55 per cent at 1,885.61.
