The Royal Gazette/BSX was down 0.39 points, or 0.02 per cent, at 2,063.06.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 51 cents, or 1.48 per cent, at $33.91.

The BSX Insurance Index continued its slide, falling 35.56 points, or 1.9 per cent, to 1,839.54.
