Shares of Devonshire Industries improved by $1, or 22.2 per cent, to $5.50 after 1,000 were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Also improving was HSBC Holdings, up five cents, or 0.51 per cent, to $9.85 after 1,000 shares were exchanged.

Ascendant Group slipped by one cent, or 0.01 per cent, to $9.25 after 3,000 shares were traded.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were 50 cents lower, or 1.36 per cent, at $36.38.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 0.32 of a point, or 0.01 per cent, at 2,142.29.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 3.18 points, or 0.17 per cent, at 1,883.15.
