Shares of BF&M Ltd edged higher by one cent, or 0.1 per cent, to $17.01 after 1,104 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

There were no other trades on the local exchange, which was up 0.08 of a point at 2,221.9.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 47 cents, or 1.22 per cent, at $37.99.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 6.43 points, or 0.35 per cent, at 1,856.15.
