Shares of Argus Group Ltd were down five cents, or 1.3 per cent, at $3.92 after 17,500 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

A total of 1,000 shares of Ascendant Group, 700 shares of BF&M Ltd, and 100 shares of Butterfield Bank were also exchanged, but with no impact on their respective closing prices.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 98 cents, or 2.44 per cent, at $41.17.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down one point, or 0.04 per cent, at 2,314.47.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 9.72 points, or 0.5 per cent, at 1,916.17.
