Shares of Butterfield Bank improved by 10 cents, or 0.2 per cent, to $46.10 after 7,500 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank’s shares were up 30 cents, or 0.64 per cent, at $46.90.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 4.5 points, or 0.17 per cent, at 2,586.26.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 21.8 points, or 1.14 per cent, at 1,938.31.
