Argus Group Holdings Ltd shares fell by 31 cents, or 7.9 per cent, to close at $3.61 after 1,900 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Also declining was BF&M Ltd, down 40 cents, or 2.4 per cent, at $16.60 after 5,400 were exchanged.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 9.26 points, or 0.35 per cent, at 2,644.78.

On the New York Stock Exchange shares of Butterfield Bank were up 57 cents, or 1.17 per cent, at $49.10.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 1.23 points, or 0.07 per cent, at 1,884.4.
