The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 2,377.25.

While Butterfield Bank’s shares did not trade on Victoria Street, the bank’s US-listed shares did trade on Wall Street, falling 44 cents, or 1.1 per cent, to close on $39.06.

The BSX Insurance Index took a tumble, sliding 17.59 points, or 1.17 per cent, to close on 1,489.30.
