A total of 9,000 shares of Ascendant Group were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, but with no change to the closing price of $16.75.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged on 1,980.41, while the BSX Insurance Index was down 4.02 points, or 0.27 per cent, at 1,483.58.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 34 cents, or 1.05 per cent, at $32.62.
