The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed where it started at 2,167.97.

BSX trading turnover was $117,356.

The BSX Insurance Index gained 1.07 points to close on 1,471.92.

The US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank gained three cents, or 0,08 per cent, to close on $36.75 on the New York Stock Exchange. The bank last traded at $35.50 on the BSX.
